"Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

Obama's latest in Nevada. A flyer being circulated asking folks to "be a democrat for a day." there are 2 linked below. another democratic caucus where dems face their own caucus being flooding with non party folks to determine who wins. I dont believe in being a democrat for a day. I just dont know what is going on these days with Obama.

Why doesn't Obama like Democrats?

Why does he seem to ignore Democrats and go after indies and Republicans instead?  He reminds me of Joe Lieberman, kicking his own party around, so he can appear holier than thou and score points with the other side.

I want to win in November, and beat the republican.  Obama wants to bargain for surrender terms.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

The photographs I post capture two different fliers circulated by the Obama campaign in NV.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

All the typos make it unlikely this memo was generated very high up within the campaign.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

But it is still nonetheless tied to the campaign.  One also cannot ignore the use of campaign talking points in these fliers.

You are so naive Steve.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

No, not really.  I seriously doubt that the folks who have helped Obama get this far are clueless enough not to recognize that openly advertising for the votes of Hillary-hating Republicans is a bad move.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

Perhaps you should contact Obama campaign precinct captain Bob Buchanan and ask if this flier is a product of a directive from the Obama campaign.  His number is printed on the flier.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

Bob is probably a busy guy beating the streets in search of Hillary-haters.  I will leave the investigation to the real journalists.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

He could answer your question.  I guess one could contact Obama's Reno office.

Obama should try that

Obama should try to be a Democrat for a day.  It would be a breath of fresh air given his lastest Joe Lieberman like public image.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

Obama is a low life schmuck. I'm not surprised.

the black Joe Lieberman

and even worse than that he is using the ugliest tactic he can.... appealing to irrational haters. How is that going to help us in November?

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

ABC News contacted Precinct Captain Buchanan, and they are in possession of the fliers.

Re: "Be a Democrat for a Day "in NV

Just because you use "talking points" or phrases from the campaign, doesn't make it FROM the campaign.  If it was FROM the campaign, it would said something like "Paid for By.." at the bottom.  You people need to really get over yourselves.

It's been on their Florida website for months

Will Obama disavow all knowledge -- of this site which his campaign in Florida has had up since April 2007?

Some people better archive this before it goes away.

WANNA BECOME AN OBAMACRAT?!!!

....
That's why "Democrat for a Day" was launched this spring by ObamaFlorida2008. Using the official forms provided by all Supervisors of Elections offices, you may re-register as a Democrat for that one day -- when the primary is likely to be held -- on February 5, 2008. You must do so before the end of 2007, to make sure it is done 30 days before the primary.
But this is not about some "hard sell" to recruit voters to become permanent Democrats. Not at all. After the primary, you may re-register back to the
Republican or Libertarian parties, or revert to your previous status as an Independent! There will be plenty of time before the general election in November 2008.
....
But we're finding that up to 20 percent of Obama supporters are registered Republicans.
In fact, during the first couple of weeks in April, some 150 Republicans indeed became "Democrats for a Day." You might call them "Obamacrats!"
