I think this is not a good idea for America but it would probably placate the Clinton's egos. As VP Hillary could be sent on the more dangerous missions. However, if I were Barack, I would take out some extra life insurance--just remember all of the people the Clinton's assassinated in the 80s and 90s.
This may be a stretch, but maybe Obama is floating the idea of running as an independent if the nomination is take from him in a nefarious super delegate coup.
Let's see, Clinton is listening to Rubin who helped create the current economic debacle and the coming spiral of inflation. Volcker is advising Obama. Volcker helped break the back of stagflation under Carter and Reagan. It seems to me Obama is better prepared to deal with the coming Clinton/Bush engineered economic meltdown.
I agree. For the record, I started as a willing Clinton supporter but evolved into someone who could not stomach Hillary's campaign. I sincerely wish that was not the case. At this point, I really wonder if Hillary supporters are Democrats? Maybe the Clintonians are a party in their own right?
By the way, does anyone here wonder what religious group Hillary belongs to? I suggest you check it out. While we're at it, why doesn't Hillary ask the members of her campaign who are in the Trinity congregation to leave her campaign?
Don't get me wrong. I like him for the most part but I think he is really hungry for a piece of the action. Richardson would make a great ambassador to an important country or a cabinet seat.
Mr. Seder,
I doubt that you will read this but YOU ARE MY IDOL! I remember your voice of indignation during Katrina like it was yesterday. Thank you for your intelligence, passion and patriotism. I listen whenever I can.
I have to agree. To say her flying into Bosnia under fire is a misstatement is absurd. And, under the circumstances there was no reason for Hillary to assume that the little girl with flowers was not a suicide bomber. Sinbad is making light of the situation because he was obviously scared shitless. Frankly, I am so proud that Hillary and Chelsea (who accompanied her) would be willing to take these risks to ensure Bill's safety.
It would be more than a misstep for Obamabots to consider this an embellishment or outright lying.
"At a town meeting here Saturday, retired Air Force Gen. Merrill A. McPeak, who is a co-chairman of Mr. Obama's campaign, read the quote from Mr. Clinton. A few members of the audience gasped and hissed at the former president's words."
"Let me say first, we will have such an election this year because both Barack Obama and John McCain are great patriots who love this country and are devoted to it -- so is Hillary Clinton," General McPeak said, speaking over loud applause. "Any suggestion to the contrary is flat wrong."
Tell me why the leading Democratic candidate has to put up with this from a former Democratic president?
The DLC would rather see John McCain win than a true Democrat. Sad but true. I am actually happy to see this fault line widening between the real Democrats and the DLC Democrats. The DLC has done too much damage to the Party and they must be brought to heel so that Democrats can actually pursue progressive policies. Hillary's defeat is a step in the right (left) direction.
Will the Clintons come out for McCain? Just watch the Clintons, the Bayhs, et al, follow Lieberman to the dark side. Silver lining? They will get more time on Fox!

I think this is the mantra of the Clinton campaign: I am a rock. I am an island.
I think Richardson is a weather vane.

You are definitely more level headed than me. Today I got angry. Thank you.

Actually, both are used. Look it up.
Childish response.
Actually I was referring to the whole comment not just the dismissive way Katrina was mentioned.

How about a McCain/Clinton ticket?
