Don't forget the PUMA claim that they raised $10 million in one day to help retire Hillary's campaign debt. Funny how that money never showed up on her campaign finance reports....
With the way the feds botched the trial, I think Stevens has a good chance of winning his appeal. I can't remember the last time I saw a case that should have been a slam dunk handled that badly.
To me, the most likely explanation is that Florida Republicans knew that McCain was going to lose anyway, even if he carried Florida, and so decided to save the money to ensure they keep the governorship in 2010 rather than spend it on a lost cause.
Unelectable? Where are you getting this? Obama led McCain in all the polls right up until the RNC. The best that McCain could do at the height of his convention bounce was to pull into a tie, and even that was only in some polls and not others.
Obama was never unelectable. It was just that some people desperately wanted to think he was.
Almost all of them think Senator Clinton agrees with them, that she is "secretly backing" Palin and McCain, etc...
Really? If so, they seriously need psychiatric help. They sound like stalkers who believe that movie stars are secretly talking to them when they give interviews, etc.

And in Georgia, he probably would.
Plus, it's Kansas - one of the reddest states in the nation. With Sebelius, we have a chance, but I'm not sure how good it is.
I'd rather not those two, actually. We need them to run for Senate in 2010.
Maybe Plouffe for DNC chair, if Dean doesn't want another term or Obama wants to shake things up.
Thanks for providing that quote. Very telling.
They don't. For them, it's not about issues. It's about hatred, racism, and yes, mental sickness.

Good lord, there's a huge amount of concentrated insanity over there. They're no better than Redstate. They may even be worse.
