Obama should concede the experience issue

If Hillary and McCain are both going to attack Obama on the experience problem, he needs to just admit that they are correct. Here's how he should do it . . .

"It's true that my friend John McCain has decades and decades of life experience. No other president in history has lived as much history as John. I admire and respect that, and I know we're all curious to find out how much more history John will see."

"My good friend Hillary also has many decades of experience. You can tell how much she has lived just by looking at her face. In fact, her face looks renewed from her encounters with our health care system."

"We all know that everybody who looks at John, and especially Hillary, will see how very much experience they've had. But the key question is judgment. Do we want a president whose judgment is impaired because it's past nap time?"

He has to do something, because Hillary obviously is running away with this thing.

Re: Obama should concede the experience issue

He's already done this with McCain, he praises his "Half-century of service".

Typically fine instincts of the Obama supporter

Make fun of older people.  That tactic always wins a bunch of votes.

"Running away with this thing" ok missed the snark, that's a good one, man too bad Huckabee gave up he was similarily running away with it.

What experience has Hillary had? She just went on social visits as First Lady, not high-level diplomatic negotiations.

Re: Obama should concede the experience issue

How can you just dismiss that? Didn't you see that Peter Sellers movie? "Being There" is all it takes. And she has been there for a long, long time.

You may think being FLOTUS is a "job" involving nothing but smiling at various people, but each of those smiles is still with her, as you can see just by looking.

Obama needs to give up arguing about experience, because he can't catch up to Hillary's trips around the sun any more than she can catch up to his pledged delegate lead.

Hillary won the headlines.

Obama won more delegates in Texas.

That's something you'd expect to hear from someone who can count out change from her coin purse in a reasonable amount of time. You won't hear that kind of talk coming from Hillary!

Re: Obama should concede the experience issue

He doesn't need to concede good judgment.  He's got a strong case to make on that score.  He should agree that both Hillary and McCain have gone Washington, know all the right people, and attended all the right cocktail parties.  That doesn't make them better leaders.
