This diary is 100% about trying to deny the 50% who oppose Obama a place to be heard.

They denied that voice on Dailykos.

If they succeed then Hillaryis44 or the next level site will become the MAINSTREAM location where the left 50% meets the right 50% in the democratic party.

A few of my friends were permanently banned from Dailykos just for dissenting or opposing argument.

In addition, most Dailykos posters behave as pack of wolves posting all kind of idiotic comments on dissenting or opposing diary or opinion.
My suggestion to you just go back to dailykos and fix dailykos first.
MYDD is much, much better in this regard.

Bob Johnson is a Obama shill with a bit of an attitude. That said he shouldn't have been pulled. I sincerely believe in both the first and that old Voltaire saw so if you do you can't condone pullling him. The fact that he never stops troll rating and trying to kick people off Kos who don't agree with him is irrelevant. It's dangerous. If someone had been censoring someone in Munich in 1923 it might have saved everyone a lot of trouble but truth is not divisible.  

Censorship, especially regarding this widely-reported story, will lead to this site's implosion, if not the whole Democratic Party's.

Why not ask him to just edit it to AA's?

Here is how it works:

1: Something Racist happens (like attempted targeted disenfranchisment of AA voters), by the supporters of a candidate.

2: A Diarist notes in the title that something Racist happened, and points out that it was, in fact, targeted towards a certain race, which just so happens to be happening before a primary that  contains a member of that race.

3: The Powers that Be basically accuse the Diarist of either being racist or of stirring the racial pot somehow.

4: People get outraged

5: Other People get Outraged that some people are Outraged, because the target of the attacks doesn't agree with their view.

This is how Hannity does racism, you know... He loves to defend people who use racist terms by calling the people he offended "counter racists" or whatever...

It's pathetic for a progressive site to be behaving this way.

As for posting that Big Hillary videoclip...in two years, or five, will you stand by it?  I mean, at one level it's a fun exaggeration of the emotion of the late 2007 political moment, it makes a point that Left activists do feel left out of the game.

Dropping a diary with a headline that had "racist connotations" from the recommended list but not changing the headline almost gives the impression a moderator thinks it is  O.K. to post racist remarks just so long as they are restricted to certain areas.
