An extremely interesting poll and race dynamic. Nixon is almost a co-incumbent; he's been Missouri AG since 1992 and has a looooong, distinguished track record with MO voters, cruising to re-election in '96, '00, and '04. He's got a much longer relationship with Missouri voters than Blunt.
Given the opportunity to choose between their most popular statewide official and a governor that voters have spent the better part of 3 years hating, its really no contest. The results of this poll have less to do with the national mood towards republicans a simple choice between young Blunt's poor leadership vs. Nixon, who they've been very satisfied with for the past 15 years. I don't really think this race will ever get close, unless Blunt gets really nasty.
I would have totally gotten behind her campaign if she picked Don't Stop Believin. But thats just me. And I did just graduate from college. Obama should jump on that shit.

It cannot be stressed enough just how stupid this discussion is.
It looks over for Obama
Obama 35
Edwards 23
And I think he'll crush the rest of the field. It will be the comeback to end all comebacks.
I think Mondale wins this in a stunner.
Walter 38
Barack 20
Hillary 18
John 13
Oh, I dont know about that last line.... Romney is the most likely Macaca candidate I've ever seen.
eeek, those results are disheartening
this is as dillusional a piece as I've read this side of the aisle. Read the writing on the wall: win Iowa Or Else.
This is my favorite post, ever.
Looks an awful lot like Sebelius's "Respect" ad in 2006, only not as good. Still a solid cut, though.
Begich's chief rival for re-election was named "Jack Frost"?
That's kind of borderline awesome.
