and let the best person win in August! Two ballots at the convention, and all are free to change their minds after the first ballot. Right now they both have asterisks beside their names: potential nominee until August!
The SD results just confirm the difference between the closed/open primaries and the caucuses...I think an analysis of this was posted here the other day. Imo, this system should be reformed to really reflect the will of the people.
I'd like to see both candidates continue to show and demonstrate how they would take on McCain under any label they want (presumed nominee, nominee, potential nominee, candidate) so we can all see this and come together behind our nominee in August. Let's keep the involvement going and not sit back!
and not being afraid to do so. Can't replace the personal experience this man brings to the decision--a long life he's got to have seen them all! Thanks for finding this! Good luck, HRC in SD and MT tomorrow!
and the caucus v primary results, which show that Clinton & Obama are very close in primaries, only reinforce the role of the obama supporters tactics in caucuses.
SD and MT primaries should confirm the difficulty with teh caucus system where these abuses can occur, as the margin being close.
but expected. This in part is to take the spotlight off of Obama's resignation from the church, and the last pastor to speak at that church whose remarks were sexist, racist, and inflammatory. None of Obama's supporters, the DNC, nor his supers came out and called remarks disgusting...neither did Obama. McCain was the only one to say anything.
So to casually focus on Clinton and sexism to me is just part of the plan. That said, at least he finally said something.
Shame on you! What started out as a pretty good diary now devolved into you insulting the intelligence of Clinton supporters. Do you not think we have a brain and can see this?
Obama and people like you did create the opening, like it or not, and McCain is going to woo voters. Just like Obama is going to have to woo working class people if he wants them. And its just politics. You don't have to assume everyone is going to fall for this.
You accuse people of being angry and ignorant. So why do you care then whether McCain is successful or not with Clinton supporters? Why did you post this again? To convince, warn, or insult?
just the way it is going to be played by McCain and the repugs. whether you like it or not, "its just politics", and no it doesn't make it right at all. They're scrambling for votes too.
McCain shamed the dems into finally admitting the sexism in the media, and the horrible comments of yet another pastor who is spiritual advisor to obama.
No one said a thing about this until mcCain did. there you go. Not obama, not dean, not pelosi, not reid, not kennedy, none of them.
I have to say it was shocking that it was John McCain who had to apologize and dismiss the comments of the "reverend" who bashed and insulted the Clintons. He's the one who had the guts to call the remarks disgusting.
When Obama can let this slide, and in fact encourages it, tell me again why I should trust him?
My vote will not be for McCain. But it's not for Obama either. And thank you very much I will keep my first amendment rights to vote for and speak about any candidate I want.
The largest vote getter in democratic history! No matter what the SD's decide, this is truly historic. Congratulations, Senator Clinton, and thank you, Puerto Rico! viva Hillary!

A good reminder that Ted Kennedy took this to the convention floor with less support than Clinton has.

since plenty of women on both sides of the aisle are po'd. A little belated I thought, and short on authenticity because of its timing.
if Obama gets the supers this week he needs, congratulate the presumptive nominee. Then, suspend the campaign until the convention.
Adding a poll here might be fun!

inspiring, close to home, and reminds me of why I support Hillary Clinton.

Who is gullible, now?
they all had to be shamed when John McCain took the podium and decried remarks against Clinton.
