In a great example of how the Republicans are in disarray about their 2008 presidential candidates, consider the following that happened this week. During the November 28th Presidential Debate, CNN had a focus group of 24 undecided Florida Republicans to assess their opinions. After the debate was over, a reporter asked them to raise their hands if the forum had helped them pick a candidate. None of the 24 did -- and a few shook their heads -- but one participant, Sharon Turner, made an interesting point. "I think if the Democrats have John Edwards," she said, "I'll vote for him." Turner went on to say that she had not made up her mind about who to vote for among the Republican candidates, because none of them have really spoken to her. But apparently, John Edwards has.

By all accounts, we are a nation in turmoil. We continue to fight an never ending war in Iraq, the housing crisis continues to spread throughout the financial markets, and the economy teeters on the edge of recession. To the observer, these are the greatest issues facing America in 2008. Yet, if you listen to the
Republicans debate, its as if these issues don't exist. Ignoring the obvious, they ramp up the rhetoric on an different issue, a new scapegoat for all the ills of society. A diversion from the last eight years of failure.

OK -- i know this really isnt diary worthy, but have some friends over, we're going to watch the debate and play a drinking game (no one is driving).
Every time Reagan is mentioned 1 person has to drink, same with 9/11 and a different person, and the third (me of course) will drink every time Hillary is mentioned (if its not as much as the other two, will throw in the other dem candidates).
we're going to try to keep track, but will most likely forget.

I was actually at the Concord NH endorsement rally when Freshman Congressman Paul Hodes D-NH endorsed Sen. Obama. I had press credentials as a blogger for belowboston.com
The entire event from the time when a NH schoolteacher introduced Senator Obama and Cong.Paul Hodes takes 33:09 seconds according to my digital recorder.
At absolutely no time is Hillary Clinton's name even mentioned at that rally.
For her campaign to even suggest that he called her BushCheney Lite is completely false.

Thank you for taking the time to review this video of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
They both reveal their past here which may be of importance to those of you who questions the judgement of Barack Obama and his statement at the youtube debates.
