Usually I wouldn't even bother with a story like this. Usually I'd say, "eh, it's a little early to rush to conclusions." Yet that attitude grows weaker and weaker when I see more and more right-wing talking points being spewed out of the mouths of some at My Direct Democracy. That patience gets thinner and thinner when I see one Clinton supporter after another sensationalizing every little thing.
A tip of the hat to Barbara Ehrenreich for her article in the Nation which can be located here; http://www.thenation.com/doc/20080331/eh

Obama is done democrats. Nail in the coffin.
Did I know him to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy? Of course. Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes. Did I strongly disagree with many of his political views? Absolutely - just as I'm sure many of you have heard remarks from your pastors, priests, or rabbis with which you strongly disagreed.
"Did I ever hear him make remarks that could be considered controversial while I sat in church? Yes."
We disagree with our pastors/rabbies etc on same sex marriage or women's choice ..but never comprimises on on some one equating my country to Alquida and blaming my country for 911 and other rants. Looks like by his own admisison, he was present for some of the rants and did nothing.
I am proud democrat, but I am an American first. If democratic party did a major blunder of nominating you, you are not getting my vote.
Drop out now and save the country and democratic party
Again, I voted for you in 2004 Senate race.

Other interesting points
Oprah quit the church but Obama not...
Obama's most famous celebrity backer, Oprah Winfrey began attending Wright's church in 1984. Last year, Newsmax magazine reported that Winfrey abruptly stopped attending years ago, and suggested that she did so to distance herself from Wright's inflammatory rhetoric. She soon found herself a target of Wright, who excoriated her for having broken with "traditional faith."
This is more Interesting...
Having considered Wright a friend and mentor for two decades, Obama now often mentions that his pastor recently retired. Wright suggested to the New York Times last year that he and Obama might have to do something of a distancing act in the run up to the election.
"If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me," Wright was quoted by The New York Times. "I said it to Barack personally, and he said, `Yeah, that might have to happen.'"
Politics of change I guess....
