Mission Accomplished

The latest Suffolk Univ Polls.

In Kentucky, Hillary Clinton (51 percent) led Barack Obama (25 percent) by 26 points, followed by John Edwards (6 percent) and "uncommitted" (5 percent), while 11 percent were undecided.

In Oregon, Obama (45 percent) led Clinton (41 percent) by 4 points, with 8 percent undecided and 6 percent refusing a response.

I think before Oregon & Kentucky counting begins on May 20th, Obama should give a Victory speech with a "Mission Accomplished" somewhere in the backgroun. The math says that there is no way for Hillary to become the Nominee.

Take the Bush - McCain Challenge

Alright so you're a progressive, or a big sky democrat. You're one of the chosen few. You might be an independent, you're not swayed by the whim of some party line propaganda.  You know the real story. You're not a Clintonista. You're not an Obama-head. You're a real live voter with real live voter instincts that are so sharp if a single samurai thread of hair falls on them it will be cut into two.

Do me a favor. Try out this simple quiz and see if you know the difference between George W. Bush, and John McCain.

And seriously. If anyone HONESTLY gets all of these five questions right - can they post back over here about it?
Because I consider myself fairly savvy, hey - you know. A guy who front pages myDD (when Jerome lets me), every now and then. Fairly  in the know. I will admit. I got 2/5 wrong. It blew me away.

See for yourself!

OH-16: John Boccieri Mobilizes Campaign Five years after "Mission Accomplished"

Cross-posted from OH-16: John Boccieri for U.S. Congress

I love days like today...a blogger's dream! The campaign just pounded so much Mojo at me today I had turn it into a major round-up. It's a quite fitting run of "Ground Mobilization" by our candidate, the Ohio State Senator Major John Boccieri. Boots on the ground! It's time to rock Ohio's 16th Congressional District out of the tired funk from "The Hillary, Barack, McCain Diary Train". Get ready for the battle brewing here in Northeast Ohio!

Out of Headquarters...Ground Mobilization!

Hillary's Achilles Heel Sound Judgement and Spitzer

George W announced Mission accomplished and Hillary thought it would be all over by Super Tuesday. This is clearly arrogance in action and it continues when you look at what will happen April 15th when the tax returns come out. Former Govenor Spitzer believed he was untouchable and I believe that Senator Hillary Clinton has walked into the same trap. There is a reason why they have been stalling on this and it's clear they have something to hide. I hope I'm wrong because Senator Clinton would make a great president or Vice President. (I would prefer Obama) I believe her people have let her down by giving her poor advice and leaving her out of the loop at times but having said this she is supposed to be "Commander in Chief" To add to this the "race card" is part of the strategy, just ask the "blind" Ms Farraro.
Politically it is a great strategy but it's wrong and again I think Hillary's management has taken her down the wrong path.

President Bush's Message, "Not On My Watch"

That should be the media's headlines over the weekend after hearing the President make his 8th primetime television speech about Iraq to the American people.

While I'm not a supporter of John Edwards, he said it best tonight during his paid for commercial that was aired not long after the President spoke.  "In January, after years of evidence that military actions cannot force a political solution, the president announced a military surge to force a political solution. In May, he vetoed a plan to end the war, demanded more time to show the surge could work, and Congress gave it to him. Now, after General Petraeus reports the surge has produced no progress toward a political solution, what does the president want? More time for the surge to work, when all of us know it won't."

The President informed the nation tonight that he expects to leave a U.S. presence in Iraq way beyond his presidency. He said Iraqi leaders "have asked for an enduring relationship with America." The mission keeps changing, have you noticed?
What happened to, "Missions Accomplished" Mr. President?
