Hillary Clinton's speech at the 2008 Democratic Convention urged the delegates on the floor to support, and vote for, Obama.
"Barack Obama is my candidate. And he must be our president...That is our mission, Democrats. Let's elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden for that future worthy of our great country."
While many state delegates at the convention are taking her word to heart, what is happening with those superdelegate holdouts who will vote for Clinton unless she tells them, specifically, to do otherwise?

For a while now, it has been confirmed that [prominent blacks] are being threatened to support Obama...even receiving death threats. We all know that Jesse Jackson Jr. has his own part in the threatening. John Lewis has switched from Clinton to Obama, which I think is strongly do to threatening and not actually his own opinion, but that is my own thought and I cannot speak for him.

Since the divide between being an American and a Republican is as great as the divide between democracy and totalitarian fascism, I propose that all these Republicans who support warrantless wiretapping, torture, deprivation of legal council, and unlimited executive powers put their name on the dotted line. Why not start a signature drive whereby these Republican patriots prove their allegiance to their leader by waiving the very rights they so venomously oppose. I suggest a form like this, designed to look like an "official" party document mailed to each registered Republican in a manner consistent with "official" party correspondence with a tracking number and a reminder that they are being watched:
