Wikileaks: 600 docs show UN Peacekeepers raping and stealing!

This bulletin just came in from Wikileaks:

Wikileaks has released over 600 United Nations investigative reports, over 70 of which are classified. The reports expose sensitive matters from allegations of hundreds of European peace-keepers sexually abusing--and impregnating--refugee girls, to generals in Peru using Swiss bank accounts to engage in multi-million dollar procurement fraud.

A number of the reports have not only been marked "Strictly Confidential" but as an additional measure have had selected regions redacted before before internal distribution.  Often these redacted regions can be "unredacted" by simply "cut and pasting" the blanked area.  On the description page for each report, where possible, Wikileaks has provided a simple text version of the report that includes the redacted portions.

Since the number of reports is subtantial we ask that journalists, bloggers and other investigators take responsibility for those those reports closest to the month and day of their date of birth before considering the material at large.

Corrupt Obama to bribe superdelegates

Crossposted at ORANGE SATAN MARKOS BAD BAD BAD

Barack Obama has no shame. None whatsoever.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Obama is threatening to launch a massive voter registration drive in all 50 states. The goal would be to register new voters who will support Democrats up and down the ticket. This drive would be paid for by his corrupt fundraising machine that is very corrupt because it is raising way too much money from elitists. Even more notably, it would turn the spickets of his machine towards superdelegates' districts, where voter registration could help them strengthen their position and even elect more democrats down ticket. It's quid pro quo at it's worst!

Breaking: Yucaipa Paid Bill Clinton $2.6 Million in 2006 Alone

Bill Clinton Made $6 Million from foreign sources and $2.6 Million from Ron Burkle's Yucaipa in 2006 alone.

The big question is: What services did Bill Clinton provide to these foreign sources to warrant such huge amount of income? Was it just words; just speeches?  Or was he providing something more than words and speeches?

The Senate Ethics Committee Should Be Very Busy

A couple months back, Markos found it very curious that there wasn't more news coming out of a troublingly quiet Senate Ethics Committee, given the myriad cases that should be on their plate.  He noted, "the Senate fails to promote confidence in its integrity by attempting to bury any and all information into the ethics committee's activities."

The fact is, given a whirlwind of ethically questionable activity by Republican Senators, the Senate Ethics Committee should be one of the busiest committees in the Legislative branch.  Even if initial deliberations by the Senate Ethics Committee are confidential, surely the results of Senate Ethics inquiries should be public information.  And, by now, the Senate Ethics Committee should have achieved results on a number of fronts.  Unfortunately, we've heard virtually nothing of substance from them all year.

So let me take this opportunity to run through the year in investigation-worthy ethics imbroglios among Senate Republicans.  Perhaps a lowly staffer on the Senate Ethics Committee might see it and wonder why the Committee hasn't been more productive this year.
