YOUTUBE VIDEO (which I can't get to display here)
Further to the point that Obama lacks the seasoning and the smarts to be President, please watch Obama turn in a Bush-esque performance, brought to us originally courtesy of Taylor Marsh. We are talking moron territory here, people. Obama cannot provide a clear, cogent answer to why he declined to vote in favor of allowing sexual abuse victims to have their court records sealed and their privacy protected. My god, folks. Can we afford another dummy in the White House?
There's NO excuse for Obama's deer-in-the-headlights expression. Imagine what Karl Rove will do with that. It'd turn into Democrats' worst nightmare in a general election. Notes Taylor Marsh, radio host: "Mr. Obama was the only Illinois state senator to not vote in favor of allowing victims of sexual abuse to have court records sealed to protect their privacy. Explain that one. Unfortunately, he can't, because, frankly, nobody could. ... People are starting to wake up and smell the coming onslaught. ... Better late than never, as my mama always said."
This video defies description. Is Mr. Obama kidding? His answer, actually the lack thereof, doesn't come close to passing the presidential election test. People actually believe he's ready for the national meat grinder of a general election campaign? The more he's asked about his own record the worse it gets.
Then there's "Does a day trip to London qualify you to be president?," from Tom Baldwin of the London Times:

PREFACE: Former ambassador Joseph Wilson has posted his commentary, "The Real Hillary I Know -- and the Unreal Obama," at No Quarter. It's powerful testimony, and full of examples from the foreign policy expert.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I know some of you have been unhappy with my posts of late -- and one of the dearest regulars over at No Quarter blog (it's Larry Johnson's blog, but he asked me a couple years ago to post there) telephoned me about it last night. I care very much what you think. You deserve a short explanation: I'm scared to death the Democrats are going to nominate a smart young guy because he's a "symbol" -- who isn't vetted sufficiently, doesn't have enough experience (yet), and doesn't get nearly the press scrutiny that Sen. Clinton gets. Joe Conason writes vividly about the scrutiny. And the WaPo's Howie Kurtz cites examples galore in "For Clinton, A Matter of Fair Media," and it's a must-read in full:
"She's just held to a different standard in every respect," says Mark Halperin, Time's editor at large. "The press rooted for Obama to go negative, and when he did he was applauded. When she does it, it's treated as this huge violation of propriety."
Then there's that Barack Obama is Karl Rove's dream candidate. To beat. Radio show host Taylor Marsh analyzed this brilliantly in "Why are Karl Rove and the Neocons Endorsing Barack Obama?." Taylor Marsh, nobody's fool, gives example after example -- all must-reads -- of why "in Republican back rooms everywhere, the wolves see a lamb coming to slaughter and they're licking their chops."
Then there's Steve Clemon's Washington Note post this morning, "Times of London on Obama's Europe Void" ...

Illinois' disabled veterans are at "rock bottom" -- "dead last" -- in benefits and claims processing of applications for disability. But Illinois' veterans take a back seat because their junior senator is running for president. And that senator, Barack Obama, has missed an astonishing number of hearings and meetings of the Senate Veterans committee.
Obama is nothing if not audacious in touting his veterans committee membership as contributing to his "foreign policy" experience for the presidency, while his own state's veterans suffer. The Chicago Sun-Times ran a devastating investigative series in 2004-2005 (see Truthout) that showed that Illinois' veterans rank last, or near-last (depends on the graph) in disability awards of the 50 states and Puerto Rico (Illinois average: $6,961; New Mexico average: $12,004). The New York Times's 2007 article shows Illinois' disabled soldiers are still waiting over two years later: "Illinois, which has deployed the sixth-highest number of soldiers of any state, has the second-largest backlog."
Sen. Obama admitted he didn't know anything about problems at Walter Reed before the WaPo's shattering series. And Sen. Obama has missed KEY votes for disabled veterans -- including a measure that would create "common disability ratings."

At the Sunday rally in Manchester, NH, Oprah Winfrey stirred the crowd:
"Ain't you tired of the old way of politics," Winfrey asked. The crowd responded "Yes."
Barack Obama recently said:
''We've had enough of ... triangulation and poll-driven politics,'' he said. ''That's not what we need right now.'
Obama is rising in the polls because he's expressing FEELINGS that people WANT to hear. People are worn down by the last seven years, and they want to believe what they're hearing from a hopeful, fresh candidate. The problem is, it's just talk. Here are some pithy examples of (1) Obama as the triangulator extraordinaire, and (2) Obama as a do-nothing -- yes, a do-nothing.
