I read a diary last night on MyDD in which the author stated he had gone to the Edwards event in Prestonsburg, Ky, my home state, and that the crowd there was not very excited and the message Edwards gave didn't resonate. The author stated in a comment how people were walking away, and how Edward speech had disappointed them. Well, that is the beauty of youtube folks. As it turns out, we have some video of this event that someone was kind enough to shoot, and post on youtube. Lets look at this video, and see some of this speech and how it resonated with my fellow Kentuckians on the eastern end of the state, whose area is no stranger to the paralyzing grip of poverty. Wow, Day 2 on the Road to One America has been exciting!! Not only has Edwards recieved some publicity, both positive and mixed, but he has managed to roll out more policy initiatives addressing our schools. He also adressed the Fools in the White House, George W.(For Worst Ever) Bush and Darth Cheney. He spoke on the new National Intelligence Estimate and the total and complete failure of the Propoganda ploy known as the "War on Terror" has become in defeating al-Queda, and solving the problem of global extremism and terrorist activity.

Today, John Edwards began his "Road to One America tour". After announcing his excellent plan to revive New Orleans, today he travelled from Louisiana to through Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee. There was a reason why he was in the places he visited. Lets look at the places Edwards visited on the first day of his tour, and look at the new initiatives he unveiled to respect the working American.
