"Clintons4McCain.com" Founder = Republican Donor

According to their own website, one of Clintons4McCain.com's founders is Anne Franklin, a self-described "Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Retiree".

According to the page,

Anne is a retired executive with a background in sales, marketing, strategy, operations and human resources.  Like Hillary, Anne graduated from an all-female college.  The nun (now Saint) who founded the college said, "If you educate a man you educate a person, if you educate a woman you educate a family." That phrase stuck with Anne and according to Anne, has proven to be true from what she has seen in life.  "Hillary has a similar philosophy of taking care of the educational and healthcare needs of women/mothers to enable them to raise children who are less likely to drop out, abuse drugs and alcohol, commit violent crimes and end up on welfare, which is one of the things about her that appeals to me."

Anne is an Independent and believes that Independent voters are the most well-informed since, "we don't let Party leaders or others decide for us for whom we will vote. We have to do our own research on all of the candidates from both parties.  This year, Hillary was my first choice, followed by a Republican, followed by McCain, followed by another Democrat.  I am a moderate (as I believe are most Americans).  Hillary and McCain are both moderates.  They belong to different Parties, but I am not aligned with a Party.  So, I research all candidates' policies, their character and what each done in the past (which is the best predictor of future behavior).  I don't agree with any of the candiates 100% on their policies.  So, I look at the ones that are most important to me, where they stand and whether or not they are likely to get things done."

Clintons4McCain.com confirmed that"Anne Franklin of Fort Worth, Texas, said she became enamored with Hillary Rodham Clinton back when Clinton was the first lady of Arkansas."

What this site does not disclose is that Ms. Franklin was a significant contributor to two Dole campaigns and George W. Bush's 2000 Presidential bid.

According to OpenSecrets.org, Ms. Franklin gave $500 to Bob Dole's--Senator Clinton's husband's opponent--campaign in 1995, another $500 to Elizabeth Dole's campaign in 1999, and $1000 to George W. Bush's campaign in 1999.  Yes, it's the same Anne Franklin.

It appears she only gave to Republican causes before becoming 'converted' to Hillary Clinton's cause in December, 2007, and she does not appear to have been much "enamored" with Hillary Rodham Clinton before that.

Ms. Franklin gave Senator Clinton $800 on January 5, 2008, two days after Clinton came in third in the Iowa Caucuses.  Ms. Franklin gave Senator Clinton $1000 on March 12, 2008, a day after the Mississippi primary, when Obama erased Clinton's gains in Texas and Ohio and days before the Wright scandal broke.

Notably, Rush Limbaugh announced his "Operation Chaos" in late February, prior to Ms. Franklin's largest contribution to Senator Clinton's campaign.

In addition, Hillary Grassroots Campaign contributer "Rockin Robin", also known as Robin Carlson and protesting at the DNC alongside the Clintons4McCain.com founders, has been a major campaign contributor to the Michigan State Republican Party, as well as to Kent County's Republican Party.

Pandagon has already uncovered PUMA PAC founder Darragh Murphy's contributions to the McCain campaign.

PUMA Pac Founder, Murphy, "NOT a Republican" (Updated 3x)

PUMA Pac founder and Democratic activist, Darragh Murphy, has been the target this week of allegations that she is a closet McCain supporter working for the Republicans to "to set up a secretive operation" to make McCain look moderate and make feminists look like "hysterical bitches" -- (Really Amanda, anyway).

Like some of you, I was alarmed that a Republican might have infiltrated PUMA disguised as a disgruntled Democrat and formed a group that is now a leader in the PUMA movement. Like some of you, I was angry and wanted to get to the bottom of it. PUMA is a growing group of disgruntled Democrats, not a Republican secret op, so any Republican mischief-maker would need to get the boot quickly. So, I decided to go right to the source to verify the veracity of these allegations.

Hear what Darragh has to say over the flip...
