Okay, so Max Cleland didn't really say that. What he said was technically past tense, which means he kind of said that, and I do have fun with a good headline.

The Huffington Post reports that the war hero and former Democratic Senator's forthcoming memoir, "Heart of a Patriot," contains some really interesting (and juicy) Hill tales, including:

• Cleland had mono at the time of the Clinton impeachment vote, and so "wrapped a green scarf around my neck, trying to keep warm. Pete Domenici, the senator from New Mexico, insisted I remove my scarf, as it 'violated the decorum of the Senate.'" As a result, Cleland got far sicker.
  
• One of Cleland's aides, Trey Ragsdale, was a former White House intern with high-level White House access. Ragsdale claims that Monica Lewinsky would frequently ask him to take her to the White House mess for snacks, and the president would always swing down for a hello. "He ultimately came to realize he was only being used as a cover to set up meetings between Monica and the president. In effect... to get Monica signed in to the White House without involving anyone on the president's staff."
  
• As one might expect, there is lots of well-deserved venom and bile for Saxby Chambliss and even George W. Bush. A sample: "The inauguration of George W. Bush as president ushered in a period I can only describe as unshirted hell."

Back when Bill Clinton was being impeached for exploring White House intern Monica Lewinsky's vagina with his cigar, I just couldn't relate to those who called him "Slick Willie." But, in his race against Barack Obama, I've seen a side of him and his wife that now seems like the wide side of the barn compared to the backside of the outhouse that we saw back in the 1990's.

Immediate past United States President, Mr. Bill Clinton has been suspended by the US Supreme Court.

The decision on Clinton came as the Supreme Court opened its 2001 - 2002 session.

With the action, Clinton is not qualified to act as an attorney in the court.

Though the Supreme Court does not constomarily offer explanations for such orders, court observers say such suspensions always lead to permanent disbarments.

However, his attorneys say Clinton will contest the Supreme Court order that suspends him from practising law before the high court,

In issuing its order, the Supreme Court gave Clinton 40 days to argue why he should not be permanently disbarred there.

"This suspension is simply a consequence of the voluntary settlement entered into last January with the Arkansas Bar.

Clinton's new headache started when an Arkansas Supreme Court committee initially called for disbarment on the grounds that Clinton lied about his affair with Monica Lewinsky. As part of his agreement to end the U.S. independent counsel's investigation, Clinton settled for a five-year suspension of his Arkansas law license and a $25,000 fine. ThisDayOnline

Yesterday, Bill told the press,

"The great divide in this country is not by race or even income, it's by those who think they are better than everyone else and think they should play by a different set of rules," he said. "In West Virginia and we know that when we see it." Yahoo News

We all know what he means:  'Black people don't deserve what they get.  They want "special rights" that the rest of us white people don't have.'

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has pursued the same theme against Barack Obama, the Black man who thinks he can be president:

Sen. Hillary Clinton, seizing on Sen. Barack Obama's remarks about the bitterness of working class voters, called her rival in the Democratic presidential primary "elitist'' and "out of touch.''

Sen. Obama's remarks are elitist and they are out of touch. They are not reflective of the values and beliefs of Americans. Certainly not the Americans that I know - not the Americans I grew up with, not the Americans I lived with in Arkansas or represent in New York. Chicago Tribune

So, who and what is Bill Clinton talking about now, when he says his campaign is against:

Sure, 'Call a spade a spade, Mr. Clinton!'

Well, Bill Clinton can go screw himself, or his latest interns, as far as I'm concerned.  His Harlem office is a blight on an otherwise respectable borough of New York and he ought to move it to somewhere in Arkansas, where they EXPECT guys like Bill to express the petty and puerile color-aroused resentments that he has been expressing lately.
