ID-Sen: LaRocco liveblogging TODAY on senateguru.com, 2 pm eastern

First, if senateguru.com isn't part of your daily blog diet, it should be.

Second, you might think that Idaho is just "too red" to be in play this cycle.  But this is an open seat (currently held by Larry "wide stance" Craig), and the Democrat, Larry LaRocco, has succeeded in Idaho electoral politics before, representing ID-01
(half the state) for two terms.  He's also a veteran and a businessman, a lot of instate connections and name recognition, and a vigorous campaigning style to the race.  Yes, it's a long shot.  But it's my upset pick for the cycle.

So come on over to senateguru.com today at 2 eastern and talk to the man.  (If you can, kick some money his way while you're at it).

peace,
lilnev

Liveblogging the MySpace/MTV Dialogue with John Edwards

I'm blogging from the MySpace/MTV dialogue with John Edwards from the University of New Hampshire. This is the first in a series of such dialogues with presidential candidates from both sides of the aisle. The place to watch the event online is here.

Okay, that's all the time there is for the debate. I'll have some more thoughts later on. But for those interested in continuing the conversation, feel free to keep it going on this thread. Also, check out my liveblog below the fold...

Note: My coverage of this event has been sponsored by MySpace.
