Essentially, that's what yesterday's speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies was. I recieved a transcript sometime after the speech yesterday. The BayhPartisan has the full transcript up on that site. What I am going to do is, hopefully, break down some of the speech with commentary of my own. What Senator Bayh said is in italics and then my commentary will be all over.

Professor Phillipe Sands QC, a professor of international law with intimate connections to Britain's Foreign Office's legal eagles, has a new edition of his book "Lawless World" out. In it, he alleges that he has seen a secret British Government memo of a two-hour meeting between Bush and Blair
at the White House on January 31 2003 - nearly two months before the invasion - which:
reveals that Mr Bush made it clear the US intended to invade whether or not there was a second resolution and even if UN inspectors found no evidence of a banned Iraqi weapons programme.

I just got finished listening to Jack Murtha on Tweety Matthews show, and on CNN, and after listening to him, I feel that he should be given the tell it like it is award. Mr. Murtha put it in plain terms about the huge mistake the Iraqi war has become, and said that Bush has no idea what the hell he is doing, and that our troops should begin a major pullback from frontline positions, and should start coming home.
Murtha also went on to say that the troops were lied to about the time they were to serve in Iraq. Some troops are serving in their third or fourth tours of duty, and that should not happen with a modern army like we have. Murtha also complained about the cost of the war so far. Some 250 billion dollars have been spent, after several assurances by the White House that this would not be a burden on the taxpayer.

The ant of a voice call "greyhair" had the temerity to say this a couple of days ago. Now that the troops are saying it, I wonder if the story will get picked up?

War across the entire Middle East will boil over by March 15th, if you don't stop it. Yes, you.
You, me, everybody. It's crunch time. There are enough pressure points to force the White House to act now to take America into a wider war. They can't afford to wait for the summer or fall. The mad men and women in the White House wholeheartedly believe that they have no choice but to launch a regional war in the Middle East by the middle of March, by bombing Iran. They must, to save their mission to establish the American Empire.
If you have other plans for America than endless war, you need to help derail any attack on Iran in the coming six weeks, because the game's afoot. It's got the green light. Bush is going smiting again if we don't all stand up and say no.
