Great Candidate and a suicidal team

I realize that the candidate has to take responsibilty for her team but her team and Bill have really let her down. For example before the race even started they assumed it would all be over by Super Tuesday they had no plan B.

The message has been inconsistent.

Bill is now as I speak is defending the Bosnia "sniper fire" comment. He of course attracts a great many people because of his charisma but he can't seem to help himself.
Throughout the campaign he's tried to defend his wife but he's hurting her by bringing up this incident again.

Penn he's working for Columbia and Bill has some connections with the same group. Great candidate! LOUSY Team

Endorsements and the Judgment of Barack Obama (D-Rezko)

Many here tout the endorsements the candidates for the Presidency receive.  Ignored in all this chatter, however, are the endorsements the candidates have made.  The latter, I believe, provides a rare view into the priorities, values and judgment of the candidates.  Because susanhu has broached a discussion on Obama's judgment as it relates to his collusion with Antoin "Tony" Rezko, the indicted slumlord who owned and operated dilapidated tenements in inner city Chicago, I will revisit a diary I wrote in July on the ethically challenged Illinois politicians Barack Obama endorsed in 2006 and 2007.  Obama, after all, is campaigning on his judgment, an object all of us should scrutinize if we are to cast informed votes in the Democratic primary.

Hillary and Blackwater

I see that many of the Hillary-bots that infest this blogosphere have their knickers in a snit about Obama and Rezko.

This is called "guilt by association".  It's a fun fun game, and all can play.

let's explore Hillary and Blackwater

Endorsements Matter

Many here tout the endorsements the candidates for the Presidency receive.  Ignored in all this chatter, however, are the endorsements the candidates have made.  The latter provides a rare view into the priorities and values of the candidates.  Because each diary can only accomodate one candidate's endorsements, I will limit my discussion to those made by Barack Obama.

Katrina Recovery Incompetence Gone Wild

UPDATE: BROKEN LINKS FIXED

Excerpted from http://waywardepiscopalian.blogspot.com/2007/02/road-home-or-road-to-nowhere.html:

"Road Home is the official, federally-funded ($7.5 billion), state-administered program for helping Louisiana homeowners get back on their feet...

Any homeowner whose house suffered heavy damage - there are about 120,000 of them - and is willing to stay in New Orleans is eligible for a rebuilding grant of up to $150,000... In the end, the average grant is $79,693 - enough for a family to pay off the mortgage and crawl out of debt, but not enough to actually rebuild.

The real problem with Road Home is that out of 103,710 applicants and 31,914 calculated benefits, only 391 homeowners had actually received their money, with an additional 321 scheduled for payment. That's 712 homeowners out of 104,000."

The program has been in operation since October. For more, see my post at http://waywardepiscopalian.blogspot.com/2007/02/road-home-or-road-to-nowhere.html.
