"The only good union is a dead union!" Osama bin Laden stated in prepared remarks today.

DATELINE MUSCAT, OMAN: Another shocking revelation of anti-Union plotting and scheming today, but this time it was not CEO's of TARP Bailout recipient banks.  The attendees?  Senior Al Qaeda management, including Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and over two dozen more senior managers.  It marked a historic first time for so many senior managers from Al Qaeda to be in one place at the same time. Under normal circumstances and for security reasons, Al Qaeda leaders are not allowed within 50 miles of each other but desperate times call for desperate measures.

Apparently Sean Hannity and Ayman al-Zawahiri have something in common: They both think that Obama has gotten a free ride in the press.

Though hardcore Al-Qaida supporters have predictably dismissed any criticism of Dr. al-Zawahiri and are fiercely backing his choice of words, there is a rather ironic (if not entirely unfamiliar) twist to this issue. After observing international press reporting on the incident, these same supporters are now bitterly attacking the media for its "unfair" pro-Obama bias and for deliberately "confusing" the meaning of al-Zawahiri's message.

Confusing the meaning of his message?  The dude called Barack Obama a "house slave." Even if he didn't know the context of the term in American history, saying that about a guy who took on (and beat) not only the ruling establishment of the country, but also his own party's elite, is madness.

Then again, this is al-Qaida we're talking about.

From AP over the past hour (and I see it's already available here on MyDD via a link from the MSNBC feed, too), we have Al-Qaida's #2 in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, calling out our President-elect with racial epithets: "Al-Qaida No. 2 insults Obama with racial epithet."

Disgusting.

It's going to be interesting, in coming months, seeing our focus in the mideast, as far as the military's concerned, finally shifting to where it should have been all along: Afghanistan.

Barack Obama was scheduled to give a speech today on his national security/defense/anti-terrorism policy today.

There's going to be a lot of distortion of what he said, so I thought I'd launch a 'preemptive strike' and detail what he's actually saying.
