Barack Obama's A Jerk (Michelle, too)

Barack Obama came to my Sunday-evening barbeque with a six pack of Bud Light, and then drank my buddy's microwbrew all night. I still have that crap in my fridge.

Barack Obama called in sick today, and I had to deal with his clients- I know he's not sick, he just didn't want to deal with his 10:00am.

Barack Obama hangs just far enough in the turning lane so that you can't squeeze through and make a right on a red.

Barack Obama drank the last of the coffee in the Senate office and didn't make a fresh pot.

Barack Obama drank the last Code Red and left the empty case in the fridge.

Barack Obama left the Doritos bag sitting out on the counter, wide open.

Barack Obama never fills up the tank when he borrows your car.

Barack Obama had way more than 10 items in the express lane and then he wrote a check.

The Obamas' NEVER have exact change to go thru the toll booths and they hold everyone up in rush hour traffic. (colebiancardi)

Barack Obama doesn't hold the elevator for me when he sees me walking down the hall. I always just miss it. (rfahey22)

Michelle Obama waited at the greenlight fixing her makeup until the light changed, holding up traffic for miles.

Michelle Obama wore white to someone else's wedding.

I know this is snark... but there may be a few people who just don't get this. Maybe add snark to the tags?

Re: Barack Obama's A Jerk (Michelle, too) (2.00 / 5)

Barack Obama spent the better part of a minute feeling each individual tomato trying to find the exact right one for whatever he was making with his cart totally obstructing any chance of me getting around - even when I politely asked if he could move it after waiting 30 seconds.  He suddenly "realized" I was there and moved it, with no apology.

After that, when I was driving home, he proceeded to go 15 in a 25 mile speed limit.

Then, after I thought I might be able to just enjoy a night in, he drunk dialed me SEVEN times - each time leaving a longer, more incomprehensible message...at 4 a.m.  I woke up once and made the mistake of answering.

Maybe Lakrosse didn't like the camouflage designed to pretect Obama from people who can think passed stupid jokes.

There are plenty of people out there who are great Democrats and who don't have a racist bone in their body but will not vote for Obama.  They may not vote for McCain either but they just may stay home thanks to the arrogance of the Obama supporters.  There is trouble ahead and I haven't seen Obama doing a damn thing to heal the wounds he created during the primary season.  I am notsur if I know what he can do.

I hear Fr. Pfleger is back and now after Obama became the presumptive nominee he changed his tune and said he won't be silenced and he shouldn't be judged by a 15 second YouTube.  Pfleger obviously can't count either because he was spouting out his hate for almost 3 minutes.

Did you crack up at "Tommy Boy" too?

Doesn't say much.

And your last line and tone really only prove my point about Obama not being able to inspire a more mature, civil tone in his own supporters, doesn't it?

I'm curious: do you speak this way in the courtroom, in depositions, and with clients and opposing parties too?

That might explain why you are unable to see the juvenile and inappropriate nature of this diary.

As for things coming out on top being evidence of their being worthy of respect: George W. Bush won the presidency twice; Lunchables are very, very popular, as is McDonald's; the number 1 film at the box office any given week is inevitably some tacky, juvenile garbage filled with bathroom humor; "American Idol" is #1; Americans think Donald Trump is just fabulous...

Ironic that you yourself prove that Obama has not in fact succeeded in changing the tone.

Oh well.

And to answer your question: We should vote for Obama.

K?

Well.. (2.00 / 2)

What does it tell you that a professional, presumably highly educated person, an attorney, such as yourself, finds appeal in this sort of drivel?

One possible interpretation is that it's pretty damn funny.

Re: Well.. (2.00 / 1)

Barack Obama stole your sense of humor, and now the only way you can insult people is by calling them 5 year olds.

As for Michelle: well she went and married a guy who stole the democratic nomination.

Both the Obamas then did some magic Kool aid mojo, and turned a bunch of clever attorneys doctors etc into vapid schoolchildren.

I have a double first from Cambridge University, and look what he did to me.

Bastard.

I won't vote for him now, no way.

Re: Well.. (none / 0)

Bush won too.

I guess you think that means you think he was the right choice. At least that's your argument.

I have a wonderful sense of humor.  It's just above the 5 yr. old level, that's all.

Not only is this juvenile and snide, it's (yet again) more evidence that Obama cannot in fact inspire change.

He inspires followers.  Big difference.

Re: Well.. (2.00 / 1)

Bad guys win nominations. Some people who support Obama make jokes. Jeez. It's all a scam. How did I miss that? Of course, it all adds up.

Your arguments are so serious and compelling, and your tone so persuasive, I will henceforth cease all my support for Obama.

I'm sure, given how cogently and reasonably you express yourself, dozens of others will follow suit.

Re: Well.. (none / 0)

Hmmmmm...

Well, considering the fact that I say people should vote for Obama, I'm not sure how you come to your conclusion.

But of course, you're just using that juvenile sarcasm and "changing the tone" (not).

So, if I've got this right, if your sense of humor isn't on the level of a 5 yr. old, you have none; if you don't think Obama was a wise or the correct choice, you are a troll, not a real Democrat, a GOP shill, a McCain hack.

Let me ask you this: If I criticize American policy or anything about America, does that also mean I'm not a real American?

That's what Repubs say.  Seems Obamans have picked up that philosophy. Agree with us, or else...

Are you looking for the five minute argument or the full half hour?

You're clearly literate in an argumentative Red State kind of way, but your emotional literacy is low if you're spoiling for a fight on a humorous diary like this.

Real Americans don't do that. Real Americans crack frat jokes and invade small countries

And yes, agree with us or else... or else... I don't know what I'll do...

I'll ignore any more comments you make. Yes, tremble in your boots. The mighty Obamans will send you to the Gitmo of oblivion, the Gulag of indifference

Re: Barack Obama's A Jerk (Michelle, too) (2.00 / 1)

No, I don't talk about pissing in corn flakes in Court.  With family, friends, colleagues, and anonymous bloggers, I sure as hell do.  Humor - including irreverent, sophomoric humor - is an important part of life, which seems to be missing for you and that is sad.  I don't like Tommy Boy, but I love How High, Fear of a Black Hat, Don't Be a Menace in South Central, anything by Mel Brooks, etc.  I strongly prefer it to wine and cheese parties or whatever you do for fun.

I also think this diary says something important, which is how easy it is to smear someone.  Karl Rove could have just as easily said any of these assinine things yesterday and it would have made just as much sense as his "guy on the wall at the country club" comment.  I suspect that is what inspired the diarist, but I can't read his mind.

I feel for you, but as long as you are not trolling for a non-Obama candidate we're fine.

Re: Barack Obama's A Jerk (Michelle, too) (2.00 / 2)

Barack and Michelle stayed at my house last weekend while I was out of town and apparently had a party against my wishes. There is a cigarette burn in my Italian leather couch and several of my cds are missing.

Barack borrowed my car and brought it back with no gas in it. And I think he spilled Indian food in the floorboard.

Also, one of them cooked dinner in my kitchen and left burned rice in one of my stainless steel saucepans. And they didn't bother to replace all the wine they drank.

The worst, though, is Michelle left the back gate open and my dog escaped and was hit by a car. The dog will be okay, but they haven't offered to help with the vet bills.

Only you and Hillary care about real change.  Hillary was in this election strictly for love of country, right?  She ran as a public service.  She didn't care at all if she won.
