Oh, SNAP! Obama Campaign Responds!

Earlier today, we had some diaries and speculation about Michelle Obama's supposed torpedoing of a Clinton VP position. After much hand-wringing and speculation, the Obama campaign has responded to this spurious rumor.

From Politico:

Obama, whose campaign jumped on Robert Novak's suggestion earlier this year of Clinton dirty tricks, mocked Novak's column today that Michelle has nixed Clinton as a vice president, Carrie Budoff Brown reports.

He dismissed it with a flit of his hand. He nearly didn't say anything, but then offered: "My wife does not talk to Bob Novak on a regular basis."

Communications director Robert Gibbs suggested afterward that the article should be set aside "in case of a toilet paper emergency."(emphasis mine)

He has more votes than Hillary any way you look at it, and leads McCain in a divided polling contest.

Stop concerning. Obama WILL be the next president.

No the way I choose to look at it is after everyone has voted who got more votes.

It looks increasingly likely that Hillary will win the popular vote but we will see after Tuesday. If she really has a 75% to 25% victory in WV the popular vote will swing her direction VERY fast.

Only to you. Not one poll has Clinton winning by 50%. And even if she wins as big as the polls do predict (not a forgone conclusion), it won't gain her enough votes or delegates to seriously close on Obama since those are low population states.

I think you're one of theose dead-enders who will be dreaming up fantastic scenarios for Clinton to win even as Obama is being sworn in next January.
