Celebrating Mother's Day with Hillary

Over 2000 people showed up to celebrate Mother's Day with Hillary Clinton in New York on Saturday in a crowded ballroom. It was my honor to spend my day with the best candidate for the Presidency, and I was overwhelmed by the strong support she is receiving on her path to winning the popular vote and the democratic nomination.

Hillary knew the skinny on every question posed to her ranging from how to improve the adoption system in the United States to the challenges of giving autistic children shots of insulin. I also saw Obama speak once. Obama, by contrast, only offered platitudes about "change," and pandered to the audience. We are electing the President of the United State - not the class president.

Here are some pictures that I took at the event. I hope you all enjoy, and I am happy to share them with you. Happy Mother's day to all mother's.

Turn off your TV and send your mother and Hillary some love.

A nice young family that I met, and possible future President.

I forget who she is, but she's famous and sang really well.

Happy mother's day to Hillary!

I had a lovely mother's day myself and I hope all the other mothers on this site did, too.

Re: Celebrating Mother's Day with Hillary (2.00 / 8)

Rangel looks very comfortable and happy with the candidate he chose to support.  He won't be backing out on her soon.  Not to mention that Hillary and Chelsea look great, too.  Bill should have been there, but he is busy campaigning in the small towns in WV.  NOt that there are any large ones....

yes, I noticed the ease (2.00 / 6)

and enjoyment of Rangel with HRC.

HRC is really proud of Chelsea, once introduced her as "the best speaker in our family"...

Glad you got to enjoy this with HRC!  Thanks for the great pics!

She is at her absolute best when Chelsea is on the stage with her. She really beams.

Nice pictures, seconded.

Hi Owl

I was there also, enjoying the opportunity to see them again also. I wish I knew who you were. I would have introduced myself. It was a terrific day.

I was in the 2nd row in the center section by the stage next to JC and RL. If that means anything to you, you may have already met me. ;-)
