PA10-Sherwood Weakest Incumbent In Nation

Don Sherwood's re-elect of 21% is the lowest in America according to a new study of all public polling this year.

PA-10 is a great opportunity for a pick-up in November.  Sherwood got ony 56% of Republican voters in the primary when he spent over $360,000 and had robocalls from Bush and Santorum to R's in the District.  His opponent had a name rec of 12%, spent only $12,000, and got 44% of the R vote.

PA-10 is one of the cheapest markets in the nation.  $120,000 here is the same as $1 million in the Philadelphia market.

Chris Carney is a great democratic candidate who will not lie, cheat, or steal, nor ever tolerate those who do.  Washington DC needs a scrubbing.

How can you help retire Mr. Sherwood? Vote for my boss, Chris Carney:

1. At DFA

2. At Forward Together

Also (none / 0)

It's impossible to compare a campaign-commissioned poll (esp. one for which you're not providing the internals) to those performed by nonpartisan sources.

Re: Also (none / 0)

You make a good point, which is why we released our internals here.

thanks (none / 0)

Didn't know it was available; should've checked first.  The R/D split is a bit too Dem-leaning for the district, based on the 2004 returns, but not ridiculously so.

Re: thanks (none / 0)

no the split is right on, poll is 50-36 and registration is 52-38.

Re: PA10-Sherwood Weakest Incumbant In Nation (none / 0)

The R-D poll split (50-36) matches the R-D registration nearly pefectly (52-38).

Re: PA10-Sherwood Weakest Incumbent In Nation (none / 0)

This is denfinately a race, that if it catches fire, will be a winner for the dems...and at a fraction of the cost of other similarly competitive districts.  Why isn't the netroots showing this guy any love?

When people are talking about the 50-state strategy, and being competitive everywhere...they need to be talking about this race.  We have a great democratic candidate (solider, college prof.), running against Don Sherwood (Bush rubber stamp, mistress choker).  This district has been red for quite a while, and now we have a fantastic opportunity to turn it blue.

Supporting this race, and others like it, is putting your money, time, effort, where your proverbial mouth/keyboard is.

just my $0.02

Help us! (none / 0)

Absolutely. I live in PA-10 and you can bet I would love nothing more than to see Don Sherwood replaced by fighting dem Chris Carney.

To all of you out there around the country: Are you as sick of hearing how Pennsylvania is 'purple' as I am? Then help us! We can win! And as has been mentioned before: in this district every cent you donate counts a lot!
