No, Mark Sanford is Not a Democrat

Nice try, Fox News:

If this were the first time -- or anywhere close to it -- we might be able to chalk this one up as an inadvertent mistake. But this isn't the first time Fox News has tried to label a Republican facing a tremendous scandal a Democrat. Back in 2006, during the heat of the Mark Foley scandal, Fox labeled the embattled Republican "D-FL" -- the same type of "mistake" they made with regards to Sanford today. No, Mark Sanford is not a Democrat. Get it right.

I have this tape of a guy prank calling a series of right-wing radio shows all over the south, and at one point, (I think his character is talking about how much money he's making in the revival tent he's running out of his ATV), he loses the host for a second:

"Hello?  Hello?  Oh there you are.  Must be those FINE conservative technicians you got."

That phrase runs through my head everytime Fox News talks about something like "Here's what they'd doing with YOUR TAX dollars" and then cuts to film of Carrie Prejean or whatever before the screen goes blank and the startled host apologizes.

That's the house organ of the GOP throwing you over, when they do that.  As I said in the other thread, he's got Ted Stevens, Mark Foley, and Lincoln Chaffee keeping him company.
