NASA Launch Video

I'm buried in exam prep for the home stretch of my first year of law school (done Friday), but I wanted to call attention to some cool, nerdy live video online from NASA.

Short version: NASA's launching a shuttle mission today to attempt a rescue of the Hubble telescope. But's it's a dicey mission, since Hubble orbits so far from earth. And because of the potential danger from all the space junk, NASA actually has a SECOND shuttle ready to launch a rescue mission if the first one gets in trouble.

Anyway, check out NASA's video of the launch process here.

More on the mission and its dangers here.

Launch is expected at around 2PM Eastern today.

Re: NASA Launch Video

You'd think after so many launched I'd get bored watching these, but I'm not.
