Here's Senator Hatch, member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, back in June of 2008, laughing off "onerous" oversight provisions for the FISA bill:

well apparently, this administration CONTINUES to illegally spy on Americans through the NSA. WTF is up with this?! It sure explains Obama's push-back on legal review of the entire Bush program if he wants to just continue it. REALLY disheartening.
I hope Obama delays fixing this at least long enough to allow the Right Wing whack jobs to have a little taste of their own medicine. Doucebag Republicans should be glad I didn't win last November, because each and every one of them would languish on the don't fly list til the cows came home to roost!
