Hillary Clinton Releases Delegates

As expected, Hillary Clinton has just released her delegates. There were more boos than applause for this but she reassured them that she would not tell them how to vote. This was cheered by many.

"What that means is that both Senator Obama's name and mine will be put into nomination this afternoon. I have spoken to many of you who have expressed your questions about what you should do. Many of you feel a responsibility to represent your voters. Others of you want the chance to vote what's in your heart. Still others will be voting for Senator Obama because they want to demonstrate their commitment to the party and the nomninee. So I am not telling you what to do."

She also told her delegates:

"I signed my ballot this morning for Senator Obama."

This isn't uncommon. Jimmy Carter didn't attend either of Bill Clinton's speeches. It's Obama's night anyway.

Clinton didn't attend Gore's acceptance speech, nor did he attend Kerry's acceptance speech.

Now, you make the case against Terry Mac for leaving early, but as to clinton, that's a invisible.

It's hardly selfish. You know all the media outfits would just have a camera locked on to him. Bill sneezes and then every news channel and paper would run four weeks of disrespect this and disunity that.

Obama didn't attend Clintons speech!

This is stupid. The nominee doesn't appear until nominated, sorta like the tradition of the groom not being allowed to see the bride. Nor do the parents stick around for the wedding night. A former president doesn't hang around past his speech, it's not his night.

Rumor is that McCain is seriously considering Kay Bailey Hutchison in order to pilfer reluctant female voters from the Democratic Party. We can't let the Republicans elect the first female Pres or VP.

And she has a long and unpleasant conservative record, and does not control any critical constituency. Oh, just think what would happen if Hillary went up to campaign against her in Texas.

They already are- CNN had a body language "expert" on, that said because Hillary's cheeks didn't lift enough, she wasn't really supporting Obama in her speech last night.
They're so desperate to present a divided party, it's pathetic.

You know...I've always been an Obama guy, but I find it absurd that in order to achieve unity we need to make her happy about losing. "Not only did you lose, BUT YOU WILL LIKE IT!"

I mean. Come on. She's a human being, and a driven one at that. It's amazing she even made the speech she made. Now we want her to be happy about it?

Maybe we should analyze the handwriting on those Hillary! signs too. What about the shoes she was wearing? Was the fact that her suit was orange some sort of signal?
