So we're celebrating Hillary having lost of cash, but Barack having lots of cash, and using it to overcome her advantages in PA and OH is a sign that he can't win? The spin is thick here.

Judging by the fact that she raised only $20 million in all of March, something is fishy here. Does the GOP see the chance to prop her up and make this bloody battle even longer?

Going by just the counter on Obama's site they have had about 40,000 donations since PA polls closed.

"As of 10:30 a.m., the campaign had raised $3.5 million, 80 percent of which came from new donors, spokesman Mo Elleithee told reporters. He called it ``our best fundraising night ever."

Obama's NEW donors counter went from 1,375,000 around 9PM last night to 1,409,345 as of this moment (1:17PM Central). That's a bit over 34 thousand, once again, new donors. At an average of $100 per donation, that's a nice $3.4 million from new donors on a night when Mr. Obama lost a primary contest by 9 points. If you ask me, the dude is sitting pretty.

Also, the $10 million number is impressive, and I'm sure many of the vendors/businesses that are owed money by the Clinton campaign are just as excited as everyone about this wonderful news.

My favorite new hobby is going on blogs after a big Hillary win and reading the same lame whining and pathetically weak spin from the Obamoids, very few of whom possess the internal fortitude to  accept even a single setback and move on with tenacity.

Just like their hero, they don't relish a fight and feel entitled to the win without actually winning -- hence the even louder calls for Hillary to drop out right after she whips him in another electoral vote-rich state.

when it's actually over.  In a scenario where there are no states left, Obama has all the delegate advantage, I think those 50,000 are so partisan they would want to continue.  It's partisan self-indulgence and it needs to stop before the convention or else we're all screwed.

Two points:

1.  On Hillary's fundraising, I am highly skeptical that all of it is for the GE.  In the past, her figures have usually turned out to be misleading.  As some have noted, next month's FEC will tell all -- but if I were her team and I suspected I was going to win (at all) in PA, I would set it up with donors ahead of time.  It's a variation on what one sees with Obama and the elusive group of "super delegates preparing to surge to him."  

2.  More to the point, anyone who thinks Obama was a flash in the pan or is somehow fading I think are deluding themselves.  On the campaign trail, his events are as big as ever, the money is still pouring in, and super delegates (no dummies on who has the momentum) continue to move in his direction.  The thing that has changed the most is the MSM's overall narrative -- the ratings are great as long as the race is viewed as close -- therefore the narrative will overplay the extent to which this race is close.

I pledged on another blog that I would put in five bucks for every point in her margin.  So today I had to put my money where my mouth was - fifty bucks kind of hurts, but as supporters we know that we are the ones that have made Hillary's campaign a success for the past two months.

By showing us that you should never back down from your principles, and always fight for what you know is right, Hillary sets a good role model.

As long as Clinton supporters are committed to voting for a Democrat, regardless of who it is, in the fall, then as an Obama supporter I give you all my congratulations on your candidate's win and recent fundraising fortunes.

Good to see that Hillary supporters feel fiscal responsibility and paying off one's debts is important.  Let's see if the campaign feels the same way.

It's mostly the show that they want to go on. Like American Idol (or better yet  The Truman Show) - it's just so riveting.

And for just $25.00 you can make it go on and on. But when in June Obama is the clear winner by all measures and the supers give him the nod (because a convention fight would be an unseemly spectacle to allow out over the airwaves) - it suddenly won't be so interesting - and everyone can turn to the Olympics before the fall season and the GE races begin. Cynical much? You bet!

A more accurate statement would be that SOME people want this primary to continue.  Many do not, and likely many more than the 50,000 folks who gave Hillary money today.  Of course, a consistent message from the Clinton campaign and her supporters has been anyone who doesn't vote for or support her doesn't matter so I guess you're consistent.

Has any other campaign ever raised more than 10 mil / 1 day? The Ron Paul Money-Bomb took some 6 mil, isn't it?

It is a clear sign some people want the race to continue.

But considering we're talking about less than then the number of people who voted for Ron Paul yesterday, it's only real significance is that there are too many people who don't understand math and/or are willing to piss away money.

So is there hard information about her debt as of Today?  

Or are we forced to speculate based on FEC info from a week or two ago?

I read their editorial and also Modo gave her usual guidance so today's truth is that it is critical to Democracy that Senator Clinton quit the race before more Democrats vote for her.

If she continues to fight hard, but comes up short, her supporters will bail her out.
