• goldenvalleydfl reports from Minnesota on a Democratic senate debate between Mike Ciresi, Jim Cohen, Al Franken, and Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer, all of whom are vying to compete for Republican Norm Coleman's seat.  The diary also hooks us up with YouTube video of the entire debate, as well as a Minnesota blogger roundup.

• Despite being an incredibly important story, this diary about conservative dominance of the Op-Ed pages by David Brock of Media Matters didn't generate much discussion.  If you missed it earlier this week, be sure to check it out now.

• California Nurses Shum again posts a wonderful diary outlining the successes of the NNOC/CNA in organizing nurses across the country and in battling the Governator and insurance industries in California.  The nurses are spoiling for a ballot fight against those two forces and they've got a shot at winning.
