More on Tom Kean's Political Campaign

Well this is a shocker.

Asked if he had apologized to Clinton for inaccuracies in the movie, Kean quipped, "No, he was out campaigning against my son yesterday, so I didn't reach out to him at all!"

And then there's this, which I blogged about yesterday.

Not only is Kean Sr. a onetime governor -- he's the former president of Drew University in Madison and the acclaimed chairman of the federal 9/11 Commission that investigated the terrorist attacks. That's a great resume for the U.S. Senate.

The candidate, however, is his son, Kean Jr., a state senator...

A poll by the Eagleton Institute of Politics earlier this year gave some credence to that argument. It noted that the race was a virtual dead heat, but also that when voters definitely knew the candidate was Kean Jr., Menendez had a lead of nine percentage points, 42 to 33.

A prize to the first reporter* who mentions this GROSS conflict of interest on the part of Tom Kean Sr, which has gone unnoticed so far in press coverage, except by, you know, Tom Kean Senior himself.  I have to say, at least Kean Sr has trashed his credibility so we never have to deal with his 'moderate' brand of dishonesty again.

*This prize is also available to the Menendez campaign or any New Jersey Democrat willing to reprint Tom Kean Sr's own words.

Re: More on Tom Kean's Political Campaign

Question: Is Tom Kean Junior receiving campaign money from Disney, ABC, or other parties involved in "The Path to 9/11"?

The Real Prize

Will be Menedez holding this seat.

I think it's time a for simple DSCC ad title, "He's sure not his father." A little voter education.

Re: More on Tom Kean's Political Campaign

I'm kind of bummed about TK Senior.  Being fom NJ (and still living in NJ), I thought he wasn't a bad governor...  Oh well, I've come to expect disappointment from people.

Re: More on Tom Kean's Political Campaign

Kean and Hamilton  admit that the 9/11 commission did a poor job.  They went easy on Giuliani and they wouldn't allow into the report the testimony they got about terrorists being motivated by US support of Israel.  Its stunning that on a matter this serious the commissioners were not scrupulous about the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
