Iraqis Want To U.S. Troops Out Of Iraq

Only 9% of Iraqis want the United States to "stay as long as it takes" in Iraq. Via Think Progress:
That is one helluva democracy we are building in Iraq, when a foreign country occupies it indefinitely against the will of 91% of the population. If we actually believed in Iraqi democracy, we would encourage a national referendum on whether American troops should stay or leave. I think one of the obvious reasons that has not happened is because the Iraqi population would vote overwhelmingly to kick us out.
Of course, it isn't like the war is good for us either, as the NIE report as shown. That is why we won't be getting the rest of the NIE report until after the elections.
