Apparently the Lieberman campaign is claiming that the Lamont campaign hacked their web site. Here's a screenshot from earlier in the day.
Now the site's just down.
What a bunch of liars.

Who fucked that one up for Joe. With all the loot he is getting from the NY billionares, and he forgets to cut his web site host a check, that's just great experience there Joe.
It's hacked. The day before the elction. Real cool--the netroots have genuine class.

I wonder if they lost their provider for some reason. That could be - like high processor useage/excessive traffic. Chances are it isn't. Usually the suspended screen = someone forgot to pay the bill.
If you go to his site now it just says :
Vote for who you know, Vote Joe
Please check back soon.
If he did forget to pay the bill then it really shows that Lieberman is like Republicans - even fiscally :D

This note is to confirm that the suspension of displaying the website www.joe2006.com: was not due to to an overdue account. Friends of Joe Lieberman is completely paid in full. The screen that showed yesterday is a default image from the server. In order to isolate where the denial of service attack was coming into the site, we disabled it as rapidly as possible. Once we were able to isolate all the site files for study we were able to add an appropriate one-page maintenance message.
Your campaign has in fact paid every invoice submitted to it within a week and a half.

1: I'm reading that the site hosting this page is in Nevada....Couldn't Joe have gotten a more local host for his page?
2: A site going down due to traffic could be a DOS attack, or it could be a site inadequately planned. We'll never know for sure, but the Lamont fan in me leans toward the latter
Hope the lieberkind can stop being WATBs, suck it up and take it into this homestretch fairly.....but I'm sure that's just too much to ask.... that goodness for CT's retrograde voting machines....else we'd have to be watching out for USB keyfobs of doom!
