Get Your Ass to Connecticut

Realize one thing - the recent polling numbers are fake.  No one knows what the voting universe is going to be, and Joe has a singularly massive GOTV operation.  He's going to get extraordinarily dirty in the last few days of this campaign.  More to the point, even if the numbers are accurate, which there's no way to know, we shouldn't just beat Joe.  We need to bury him, so he's so devastated that he doesn't run in the general.

If you want to win, you need to come to Connecticut.  And if you're in Connecticut, you should volunteer and offer couches and beds to people coming in from nearby states.

It's all on us now.

I actually thought about it, talked it over with the wife, but we just can't afford to come. Wish I could. Good luck.

I agree, we need to bury Joe so that any thought of running as an indy is given a good long hard look.

Maybe literally. Take care man, the heat is literally killing people.

And of course the poll is not 'fake', the Q-poll is perfectly legit, but funny things can happen in a low turnout primary, then again I am not getting the feeling this is going to be low turnout.

Certainly there is unlikely to be a single person in Connecticutt this weekend who is going to be asking "Election? What election? and whose running?"

Aside from the little bit of snark in the post and the comments :) , I'd like to say I'm glad to see this realization. Establishment politicians, on both sides of the aisle, have the money and the orgs to GOTV, and for a primary challenger to win is very, very hard. I hope as many people as possible can help out, cause it will take some insane dedication to win this one. I gave a little cash, but I can't fly out from the west coast or anything. (Although I may go to PA this fall if Casey even looks like he is losing; I want Santorum gone so bad it hurts...)

If you're coming to CT anyway, feel free to stop by the New Haven Green on Saturday around 11:30 for the statewide demonstration against Israel's crimes against humanity in Lebanon and Gaza - crimes with Lamont has yet to denounce. Hamas and Hezbollah are not terrorist organizations. The IDF is, and Lamont should recognize this.
