NY-29: Kuhl Slammed On Stem Cell Vote In Local Press
by Chris Bowers, Fri Jul 21, 2006 at 08:15:55 AM EDT
Eric Massa's opponent in the NY-29, Randy Kuhl, once pointed a shotgun at his wife and threatened to shoot her. While he clearly does not hold much respect for women, he has only the highest reverence for stem cells, which is why he supports the Bush position on stem cell research. Local Rochester television deservedly lambasted him for doing so:
At the risk of sounding like an "angry blogger," I have to say how much it disgusts me that Randy Kuhl is in Congress. No one who engages in that sort of violence against women has any business holding federal office. Now, apparently he is going to claim that he is somehow part of the "culture of life," or some other nonsense. Grotesque.
