The right-wing keeps trying to push this story about yellow stars in Iran.  Taylor Marsh has been all over this one.

The lazy Beltway media keeps lying about Al Gore.  You really should read Lapdogs if you haven't yet.

Partisan extremist and Starr aide Brett Kavanaugh is now a Federal judge.  Let's hear for the Gang of 14!  Go Lieberman!

Linda Stender in NJ-07 supports net neutrality. That race is becoming more and more interesting.  New Jersey has no media market, so it's very expensive to run there.  It's also a blue state and there's a powerful Democratic Party.

The Cunning Realist has an interesting discussion of the stock market's recent weakness.

I've been meaning to mention this blog Snowjob for a while.  

Justin Rood meanwhile has a good piece on why Capitol Hill is out of control.  The scandals have boiled over.

I'm still loving Ezra Klein's piece on the NYT story about insurance companies refusing to pay doctors what they owe them.

I am so looking forward to being able to dig further into this issue on the Civil Justice front cause guess what, the bad faith actions of insurers by not paying doctors is totally tied to conservative think tank sponsored fight for tort deform

That's a good question. Probably because Liebermann is an easier target than Hillary. Plus Hillary support I believe is deep AND wide, not just wide (and shallow) like Joe's.

I don't know though. I think the blogosphere should be kicking themselves right now for not at least publicizing Tasini's campaign since if he were to get any traction at all, it could force Hillary to take a stand for once and come out against the war and for universal health care (or Medicare for All as Tasini says). But instead she just goes merrily on her way with her mealy-mouthed phrasologies.

Broadband in Nebraska

The debate is heating up now that Democratic gubernatorial candidate David Hahn is calling out sitting governor Heineman on his support of a ban on public entities providing broadband internet, in the only state where power is 100% publicly owned.  New Nebraska Network lays it out nicely here and here.

BlueNC has really come of age.  They're covering NC politics better than anyone.  Our state legislature raised the minimum wage to $6.15/hour yesterday.

BlogAsheville is about to celebrate its first blogaversary.

Blah3 is a fresh voice in the liberal political conversation.

Brainshrub covers National Guard "Free Job Training", which he discovers is free only if you join the National Guard.
