On The Road With Ned Lamont, Part One

This picture below links to the first of three videos Liz is putting together that document our trip to Lamont HQ. In this video, we are in the backseat of a car with Ned as we drive to Hartford for an event with local Democrats. During the trip, Ned gives a radio interview with Peter Collins out in California. I think it offers a good introduction to what Ned Lamont stands for, which is important considering how the netroots support for Ned in this campaign has been primarily anti-Lieberman:

Political Video and Net Neutrality

Seeing Chris post these videos from what is emerging as a potentially groundbreaking Senate campaign underscores the message I tried to convey in a blog post I just wrote on the relationship of democracy and Internet policy. If I pay my Internet access provider for a high-speed bit rate, I want to be able to use those bits to see a high quality video of Ned Lamont, without Ned's campaign having to pay that provider for access to the fast-lane I already paid for.

cool video. I would love to see more campaigns do something like this. Nice and personal. Ned seems really likable. I'm looking forward to the next installment!

Thanks for picking up and supporting candidates like Ned. It sure seems from the video (actually audio) that Ned has the skills to compete with Lieberman in the media.
