    On this happy occasion, I want to thank you, Matt, Jerome, Jonathan and all the rest of the MyDD crew for all the hard work you've all done at so many levels for the Democratic Party. Take a bow!

    I spent the last four days canvassing all over Frederick (MD). Just this afternoon I convinced four Dems to get out and vote. It looks like we've regained the governorship and kept the Senate seat (whew). Locally, we gained a seat in the House of Delegates, and ALMOST took a State Senate seat from the "unbeatable" uberwingnut Alex Mooney, who's an RNC golden boy. But that last one eluded our grasp. Still, it's been a good night in Maryland.

Oh my God, it hasn't even sunk in yet.

Thank the lord almighty. Savor the flavor tonight, and when its all said and done its going to be 20+. Thank you everyone for all your work.

Well done.  I wish I could say I never doubted, but oh I did.  The vote suppression and robocall stories did have me worried.

It is fantastic to see these fucking scum like Mehlman and McCain suddenly appearing on TV and talking about the need for bi-partisan cooperation.

I am bawling right now too.  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED MAKE THIS HAPPEN!  We have our country back.

Now I can take an hour off, and watch Veronica Mars with a clean conscience.  (Checking in for updates during the commercials, of course!)

I'm in Oregon so our polls haven't even closed, yet.  But I FEEL it.  I so feel a Dem wave hitting my own state.  I'm going to bed a happy person and I'm waking up to a better country.

Dems could take 5, count 'em FIVE, seats in Pennsylvania. We already have the 7th and 10th, the 4th looks very good right now as do the 6th and 8th.

I'm happy to have the House, but feeling very sad about Dan Maffei in the NY-25th.  

I agree with the sentiment stated above. Thank you, My DD, Kos, Gilliard, Atrios, Firedoglake, et al, for helping to keep us sane these long last four or five years. We are turning the corner. But the fight has just begun.

Understandable, man. I'm still letting it hit me. I'm afraid someone will come and snatch the gavel away. But more than anything, I'm beginning to grin.

You have worked so hard and put so much of yourself into these midterm elections ......and so many of us and the candidates have benefited from, to use an old, hackneyed phrase, your "due diligence."  :-)

Thank you for all of your hard work and analysis, especially your House projections, which made the past week or so for me so much more productive and less hysterical than I would have been otherwise....and which guided virtually 100% of my political contributions into your "tossup" races where I could actually understand that they would do the most good.

Your work gave me a LOT of confidence that whatever else happened we were going to take the House....which is really all I wanted.

There's been a little piece of you in every House race that leaned our way -- -and we just won 'em!
