Wow, I don't know about your inbox, but following the indictment of DeLay the emails have been filling up the inbox with fundraising requests with a frenzy. I'll just highlight one that's been a blogad candidate here,
Christine Cegelis, who is running against a Republican lawyer named Peter Roskam, in the Illinois 6th District. Roskam, who worked for Tom DeLay in 1985-1986, told the Sun Times:"I think everybody agrees that he's one of the most effective legislators in Washington, D.C.," Roskam said. "Knowing what I know now about what Tom DeLay's been accused of, my attitude would be to support him."The GOP has annointed Roskam as Henry Hyde's heir apparent, and he'll be another vote for Tom DeLay. The thing is, this CD isn't a longshot for Cegalis, she can win it. In honor of DeLay day, I'll
contribute $72 to the Cegalis campaign.
But I'm gonna wait to pay up on that
bet with NCDem, as this could only be a temporary step down for DeLay. And did Frist really pocket $6 million from that insider info he used to dump his stock? And he thinks he can be President?!?
Their Culture of Corruption is upon us.
