CNN: Most doubt plan for Iraq victory

A new USA Today/CNN/Gallup poll is out on the President's Iraq plan, or, uh, thingy.

Among poll respondents, 55 percent said they did not believe Bush has a plan that will achieve victory for the United States in Iraq; 41 percent thought he did.

There's more interesting stuff in there, unfortunately I'm out the door to get on a train so I'll have to dig into it later.

Based on his speech yesterday,
(given before another select group), it would appear that the only difference form previous speeches was this time he included a handout. I'm still convinced though, that to pick up his numbers, he'll order a "token" withdrawl of troops after the Iraqi election. And, he'll follow that uo with a larger withdrawl next summer, to boost the republicans running for office. He'll claim that certain goals are being met and these moves are based on advice from the generals, but it'll really be based on the advice from general rove.
