Snap poll, who won the debate?

In the immediate poll of "who won" Kerry did, beyond the margin of error.
		CBS ABC CNN ARG
Kerry 44 45 53 51
Bush 26 36 37 41
Unsure 30 17 10 8
To the question, "can John Kerry be President", yep.

Update (Chris): It's offical--Kerry won the deabte. You know it's true when even Gallup has him up by 16 on that question. Don't let that stop you from emailing, fact-checking, and voting in polls, however. Make sue you visit ARG. No let up!

Look out
Amen to epv72.

Look for a major slime dump from the Bu$hies in the coming days. They will now be desperate to change the conversation back to what a weakling Kerry is.

I hope the Kerry campaign is ready for it this time. Because it is coming.

Re: Trolls
The best way to prevent trolls and trolling is to set a 24-hour delay when someone registers on the website, like Dailykos.

I spend most time at Dailykos because there are virtually no trolls like Hugh, unlike this site and Atrios where ANYONE can almost instantly post a comment.

There certainly is a setting in the Scoop software used by Dailykos, and used by mydd.com.

Re: Snap poll, who won the debate?
Yes. The Kerry campaign should expect alot of direct attacks against him this week and he should be ready  to defend any small errors that are blown out of proportion.

Kerry won. Free Republic says it, Fox News said Bush looked "sour" and "angry". A good night for all. Let's gear up people, it's time to bring this race back to us.

Help Ginny
I think this Ginny lady is the real deal.  I just gave $25.  I hope everyone will help Kerry by providing the financial support to elect a Democratic Congress.  LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN.  Lets get this country back on the right track.

That is the saddest attempt at post-debate slime spin I have ever seen.

Jerome -- do you have links for the CBS and ABC polls, or is it on on-TV thing?

Kerry Kicked Bush's ass up and down the stage.  Regardless of the camera angle.  Me smells a troll.

Iraqi Hands, American Heads
The outcome of the first presidential debate seemed to boil down to one sentence.  Regarding the effort in Iraq, Bush said in the debate, "It's hard work going from a place where an individual gets their hand cut off to a democracy."  The reality is that because of Bush we've gone from a place where an Iraqi gets their hand cut off to a place where Americans are getting their heads cut off. Defend America, defeat Bush.

Re: Snap poll, who won the debate?
Bush lied about training Iraqi troops.  He kept saying 100,000.  That's a lie, as ABC pointed out.  It's only 50,000.  We need to repeat that over and over and over and make it the issue that the media fixate on (like Gore's James Lee Witt comment).  It plays into the meme that Bush is either willfully or recklessly clueless about what's really going on in Iraq.

Re: Snap poll, who won the debate?
Kerry clearly won.  Just voted on the joe.msnbc.com poll, it stands at 70/30 Kerry.  We need to participate in as many of these snap polls as possible.  Perception may not be reality, but it sure can shape reality.

My Letter to the media
Lets see what people have written.  Here is mine.  I sent it to at least 20 different outlets.  Hope it makes a difference.

It is obvious to everyone, except for hard line GOP supporters, that John Kerry defeated George Bush in the first debate. Tonight, John Kerry showed he could be strong and committed leader, looking more presidential than President Bush did. Bush looked out of touch and befuddled for most of the evening, often getting flustered and angered. He even mislead us by stating that 100,000 Iraq police have been trained, when the number is actually 50,000 as ABC and other news organizations have pointed out.

John Kerry offered a clear plan for national security and Iraq. George Bush offered rhetoric and misleading accusations. John Kerry offered a composed and calming demeanor, while Bush looked nervous and anxious. Ultimately, John Kerry left no doubt he can lead the war on terror, the war in Iraq and the continued hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Most importantly, John Kerry will succeed where George Bush has failed.

After tonight, I feel extremely confident in my vote for John Kerry. I urge my fellow Americans to vote for John Kerry and elect a competent leader to bring America back to greatness.

Who won?
You guys need a perspective from a non-Democrat like me: clearly Kerry came off better than Bush.

BTW, the Badnarik campaign welcomes contributions from Democrats who think he might swing the election to Kerry.

Re: Who won?
Sorry to be slow on this, but which party is Badnarik representing?  Is he the Libertarian or the Constitution party candidate?

I've been a third party voter for years, but now I'm a Dem.  At least for this election.

Re: Who won?
Badnarik is a libertarian.
