NY-29: Kuhl Story Breaking in Rochester

The CBS affiliate, true to form, does not have a story.
The NBC affiliate has a much more aggressive story. It is very harsh on the Barend campaign, but it does actually mention some of the specific allegations against Kuhl, including the shotguns threats. My younger brother, who lives in Rochester, told me that they used this story as their teaser for the 11 p.m. news.
The Sinclair owned Fox affiliate does not seem to have a website.
Clearly, it does not seem as though the media in Rochester is doing much of anything of the allegations made against Kuhl, and are instead focusing on how the documents were made public. Aaarrgghh. Too bad they didn't do that with the Swift Liars.
Update: (Jerome) The story has now went national and international with an AP wire story. Pataki goes in for a fundraiser this week. I wonder, if he really has Presidential aspirations, if it's going to help his efforts to be standing next to Randy Kuhl. Here's the lead of the breaking story:
BATH, N.Y. (AP) - Sealed divorce records alleging a Republican candidate for Congress once threatened his wife at gunpoint were obtained by his Democratic opponent's campaign manager, a prosecutor said Thursday.I don't really think it's going to matter what comes after "threatened his wife at gunpoint." Anyone willing to overlook that and still vote Republican would vote for satan himself as the GOP candidate.Tags: House 2006 (all tags)
